Former child actor Do Ji Han launched his adult acting work with new MBC daily morning drama I Can’t Live Without You.
He will play Chi Do, the youngest son of a judge. Chi Do is calm, decent boy , kind but also decisive.
21-year-old Do Ji Han got nickname as little Jang Dong Gun and already starred in numerous CFs, movies (as Jang Dong Gun’s child version in war movie My Way) and dramas (Merchant Kim Man Duk, Will It Snow for Christmas) as child actor.
Lee Min Ho will get a beautiful co-star for his upcoming drama Faith , scheduled to air next August. She’s the fabulous and gorgeous Min Hyo Rin.
The 26-year-old actress confirmed to join the Faith’s cast and plays a princess in Goryeo dynasty.
Faith tells story about a female doctor (played by Kim Hee Sun) from modern era who travels back to Goryeo era, meets a warrior there (played by Lee Min Ho), finds love and helps to created a true king.
Min Hyo Rin’s previous works includes drama Romance Town and hit movie Sunny.
Yoon Shi Yoon will play a Korean young man who travels to Japan to work as a fashion stylist in a 13 episodes drama which will stream online on website www.brandguardian.asia , starts next October.
The drama project is produced by JAFIC (Japanese Apparel Fashion Industry Council) in order to build awareness of Japanese fashion.

Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong confirmed to star in new blockbuster drama The City Conquest.
The story was adapted from best selling comic with same title written by Shin Hyung Bin. The original comic has been published since 1996 and its 270 books have sold 10 million copies.
The City Conquest will be a mix of humanism story about evil and unlawful society and completed with action package.
Kim Hyun Joong will play leading man, Baek Mir, who grew up full of resentment towards his father who abandoned him and his mother when he was a child. He takes revenge against the evil people in society which made his family destroyed. But the tough man Baek Mir , apparently has a soft spot in his heart if he meets love.
The City Conguest will be produced by producer Baek Jin Dong who made previous block buster globe-trotting dramas Iris and Athena. So no wonder that The City Conquest will follow the same path, planning to film all over the world, from US, Switzerland, Japan, China, Singapore and many more.
25-year-old Kim Hyun Joong has rebranding himself since Playful Kiss into a metro macho man through his muscles, his sexy and dynamic music videos and with this tough guy character, Baek Mir, it will complete his new image perfectly.

KBS1 prepared a new drama titled I’ll Give You Te Stars and The Moon to replace its golden rating drama Only You which airs every Monday to Friday at 20:45.
The story revolves around a family broken by conflicts. Slowly they start to understand that only family can guard them in this harsh world. The drama will show the process on how the characters recover from their hurting heart as the result of the conflicts. That’s why I’ll Give You The Stars and The Moon calls itself a healing drama.
Actor Jo Dong Hyuk who just finished filming medical drama Brain will take the leading man while 29-year-old actress Moon Bo Ryung (Glory of Youth) is the leading lady.
Moon Bo Ryung plays Cha Kyung Joo, a woman with cold heart and fierce desire to use man’s love only for her success.
Jo Dong Hyuk plays Seo Jin Woo, a man who doesn’t mind to change his principles only to reach his success.
I’ll Give You The Stars and The Moon airs mid-May.

25-year-old actress Kim Byul wants to changes her luck into a brighter career as she changed her stage name to Song Ha Yoon which means summer sunlight.
It’s the second time she changed name from her real name, Kim Mi Sun, as she used Kim Byul as her stage name when she started her acting career back in 2003 with role in Sangdoo, Let’s Go To School. She then appeared in dramas such as Strongest Chil Woo and movie Helpless.
Song Ha Yoon will debut her new name with upcoming SBS Wed-Thursday drama Ghost which starred by So Ji Sub as a cyber police who tries to catch cyber criminal.
Song Ha Yoon will play supporting role, Choi Seung Yoon, a first year reporter with lack of experiences. But she’s very loyal to her company and she will be important key person for the cyber mystery.
Ghost will replace Rooftop Prince on May 30.

The story came from writer Lee Kyung Hee who wrote famous drama Sorry I Love You, Rain’s A Love To Kill and Jang Hyuk’s Thank You.
Just same as her previous story, Nice Guy will be a mellow drama, tells a man who uses a woman who lost her memories to take revenge on a woman who betrayed him.
Song Joong Ki just proved he’s talented actor through his stellar performance in Deep Rooted Tree and he will get serious co-star as Moon Chae Won (The Princess’ Man) confirmed to take the leading lady role.
For us, writer Lee Kyung Hee’s previous dramas were several basic dramas which put foundation to what Korean drama is today. They’re classic !
So, writer Lee Kyung Hee plus Song Joong Ki in modern outfit are an irresistible combo. Definitely a must watch drama.

29-year-old model and rookie actor Sung Hoon secured a supporting role in much talked Lee Min Ho’s upcoming SBS’ saeguk drama Faith after several meetings with PD Kim Jong Hak. Sung Hoo’s reported to show various actions scenes with his manly charms for the drama.
This’s the second drama roles for Sung Hoon after rising as new Hallyu star through New Tales of Gisaeng (2011). He also just finished filming Chinese drama titled Bodyguard which will be aired in CCTV.
On April 25, SBS announced that they picked Father’s War as the drama to replace Fashion King as Monday-Tuesday primetime drama , starts on May 28.
Father’s War brings the story of a homicide detective tries to find out the truth behind his lovely daughter’s death.

32-year-old Kim Ji Suk joined the cast of tvN upcoming drama I Need Romance 2 as his first acting role after dismissed from army.
Kim Ji Suk will play Shin Ji Hoon, a romantic guy who shakes Joo Yul Mae’s heart (played by Jung Yoo Mi).
Jo Yul Mae, a 31-year-old cafe CEO who tired with her troubled relationship with her ex-lover.
Shin Ji Hoon , a man full of charm, will take care his lady warmly and he will involve in an intense love triangle with his best friend Yoon Suk Hyun (played by Lee Jin Wook).
Kim Ji Suk gained attention after Chuno with Jang Hyuk where he played a childish playboy and often showed his masculine body. He then continued his rising career with second leading man’s role in Lee Min Ho’s Personal Preference before went to army.
I Need Romance 2 airs next June, replacing Queen Inhyun’s Man.

Relatively new actor, Kang Dong Ho, joined the ensemble of KBS currently airing weekend drama My Husband Got a Family.
The 26-year-old actor will play as the first lover of Jo Yoon Hee and he will start to appear from the 20th episode, airs on April 29.
This will be Kang Dong Ho’s third drama after Sparkling (2011) and Wild Romance (2012).
