Straight after historical drama Warrior Baek Dong Soo where Yoo Seung Ho challenged himself with action gig, the cute 18-year-old Yoo Seung Hoo confirmed to star in upcoming Chosun TV drama title The Proposal / Operation Proposal.
The Proposal is the Korean re-make of 2007 Japanese drama titled Operation Love.
In the Korean version, Yoo Seung Ho will play the leading man Kang Baek Ho. The story opens with Kang Baek Ho attends his childhood friend wedding. Right there in the wedding ceremony, Baek Ho regrets that he didn’t confess his love to the bride.
As he accidentally has a chance to travel back to the past to the all moments he has with the bride, he then re-creates that moments , tries to get the bride’s heart.
In the end, will he success ? If yes, will he change the past ?
It’s a catchy storyline, but it also could be an annoying story if all the ‘return to the past’ is just an imagination in Kang Baek Ho’s head and it doesn’t change anything.
We’ll see how writer Yoon Ji Ryeon who also did scriptwriting for another Japanese remake before in Boys Before Flowers will sum up all those ‘fix the past’ into a pleasant ending.
Yoo Seung Ho, commented on his upcoming role, said : ‘Baek Ho represents average man who has memory of his first love. The time travel story is new for me and I appreciate Baek Ho’s attitude to protect his first love. I will show more appealing acting than what I did in Warrior Baek Dong Soo.
Yeah, Yoo Seung Ho worked very hard, in the last 2 years he already appeared in three dramas, God of Study, Flames of Desire and just finished Warrior Baek Dong Soo.
The Proposal still in search of its leading lady and will air in early 2012.
