Upcoming SBS’ primetime drama ‘Fashion King‘ finalized its main casts with Yoo Ah In, Shin Se Kyung. Lee Jae Hoon and SNSD’s Yuri.
The production team held a first script reading on Christmas eve, December 24, which attended by around 20 personnels, included main stars Yoo Ah In, Shin Se Kyung, Lee Jae Hoon SNSD’s Yuri. The reading session also attended by main producer Lee Myung Woo (What Happened in Bali) and the writers Lee Sun Mi and Kim Ki Ho.

Fashion King‘s story centers on the life of a young man who starts from rags, sells clothes in Dongdaemun market and how he finally makes it big in the fashion industry.
The leading man role goes to Yoo Ah In. This is his first drama after hit Sungkyungkwan Scandal and his box office movie this year, Wandeugi.

The leading lady role goes to cute face Shin Se Kyung. There’s no rest for her as she just wrapped great saeguk Deep Rooted Tree last week. She played terrific as genius So Yi there and it’s interesting to see how she transform herself into this modern drama.

Fashion King also casts SNSD’s Yuri as supporting cast. This’s first TV drama for Yuri and she marks the third member of SNSD’s member who came to TV drama to taste acting after Yoona (You Are My Destiny, Love Rain) and Sooyoung who expected to debut in TV Chosun’s drama Speed.

With those hot young and high profile casts plus its cinderella’s story, Fashion King surely will be much anticipated drama next March replacing Salaryman Chohanji.
