Cable channel OCN has a new TV movie titled Holy Land which its story based on Japanese cartoon.
Targeting teenage audience, Holy Land centers on the high school’s gangs and starred by teenager artists.
Leading the casts is idol group U-Kiss members Dong Ho and Hoon with leading lady role goes to former child actress Joo Do Young.
Joo Do Young will play Sang Mi , a brave but kind-hearted high school girl. Through some accidents, Sang Mi will develop romance with Yoo (played by Dong Ho).
This’s the fourth drama for 17-year-old Dong Ho after his brief cameo in MBC’s Royal Family and Yoon Eun Hye’s movie My Black Mini Dress and Villain and Widow. Aside for those cameos, he also got important role in movie Don’t Cry Mom.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old Joo Do Young already a veteran child actress with appearance in dramas such as Dae Jang Geum, Slave Hunters and Merchant Kim Man Deok. Earlier this year she’s starring as lead role for MBC’s sitcom Real School where she’s also partnered with U-Kiss Dong Ho.
4 episodes Holy Land will be directed by famous PD Park Ki Hyung who made movies Acacia and Gangster High.
