If you’re Korean drama lover, you must know Ha Ji Won, one of leading actress who plays in hit drama Secret Garden.
As we know, Ha Ji Won is a stage name for her real name Jun Hae Rim.
Ha Ji Won just revealed from where that name came from.
Interviewed by SBS’ midnight TV entertainment program on January 18, Ha Ji Won explained : When I debuted, the name of my manager’s first lover was Ha Ji Won. Maybe my manager wanted to remember his unsuccessful first love. At that time, I was so young and that name seemed pretty and imposing .
33-year-old Ha Ji Won -the older sister of actor Jun Tae Soo- debuted waaaayyy back in 1996 through a KBS TV series.
Meanwhile actor Jo Jin Woong who plays Mu Hyul in Deep Rooted Tree also used stage name. His real name is Jo Won Joon.
And he revealed that Jo Jin Woong is none other than his father real name.
It’s funny how stars choose its stage name !
