The tons of fans of The Moon That Embraces The Sun were over the moon when at the end of episode 15 (aired February 22) there was a teaser for the 16th episode and displayed the long-awaited kissing scene of the main couple Kim Soo Hyun and Han Ga In.
But turned out the very next day when episode 16 was aired, the kissing scene was nowhere to be found. It made everybody disappointed and production team of the drama came forward for apology.
Park Ji Hyun the assistant director who also responsible for editing the teaser said they tried to make teaser as interesting as possible , but they’re sorry that the kissing scene was missing in the 16th episode because they can’t exceed the allotted running time and promised the kissing scene will air next week, probably in episode 17.
The Moon That Embraces The Sun which stalled in 36-37% ratings in the couple of last episodes finally broke the 40% mark for the first time at 16th episode , recorded 41.3% (AGB Nielsen), probably because of that promised kissing scene , ha !
