KBS hit drama , Baker King Kim Tak Goo will make  it’s grand finale today.
Reached highest rating nearly 50%, Baker King got it’s nickname as National drama.
What an accomplishment !

At the beginning of broadcast, June 9, no one will expect such great success from Baker King.
Started almost in the same time, Baker King got competition from MBC mega budget drama Road Number One and SBS Bad Guy in the same time slot (Wed-Thursday 9.55 pm).
And people think, Baker King without big name in it’s cast, was no match for So Ji Sub plus Kim Ha Neul in Road Number One and also hot actor from Queen Seon Duk , Kim Nam Gil in Bad Guy.

But, with it’s strong script, the battle of good and evil, unpredictable storyline, the rookie Yoon Shi Yoon, rookie Joo Won and Eugene plus Lee Young Ah stole the viewers heart.
The rating skyrocketed and that 4 stars become household name in South Korea.

24 years old Yoon Shi Yoon who only played sitcom High Kick Through the Roof (2009) and movie Death Bell 2 before Baker King, now is flooded with CF, even before Baker King ended.

No one knew 23 years old Joo Won before Baker King, and now he already got nickname as 2nd Kang Dong Won and appeared in many magazine and now is flooded with CF too.

Singer and actress Eugene, better known as former Kpop group SES singer than as an actress before Baker King, now enjoying a better image as a strong actress through her acting as Yoo Kyung in Baker King. We believe more lead role are waiting for her right now.

And Lee Young Ah who already quite popular through Golden Bride and Iljimae , enjoying more popularity through Baker King.

When the people from Baker King’s production team said that they gambled with rookies for the Baker King’s cast, we safely said that the gamble hit the jackpot !
