Queen Inhyun’s Man is 16 episodes new drama from tvN.
It’s a fantasy-action-melodrama which describes love beyond time and space, between an upright scholar Kim Boong Do from Chosun dynasty (300 years ago) and an ‘old rookie’ actress in modern era.
Kim Boong Do is smart scholar in Chosun era and his family was killed because accusation of treason. When he wants to reinstate Queen Inhyun, he experiences a distortion of time. Then, he happens to meet unimaginable actress in modern era and involves in strange romance.
So, the hero, Kim Boong Do tries to save Queen Inhyun in Chosun era as well as in modern era, while he encounters sweet and bitter love with an actress who works in a modern drama title ‘New Jang Hee Bin’
The leading man role , Kim Boong Do, goes to 27-year-old Ji Hyun Woo (Birth of a Rich Man, Invoncible Lee Pyung Kang).
On his new role, Ji Hyun Woo said that he falls in love immediately with the story after read the script.
Director of this drama , PD Kim Young Kyu, said that he thought Ji Hyun Woo is the best actor who can do action and melodrama in the same time. He also informed that Ji Hyun Woo is practicing riding horse and martial art now.
We’re still not a fan of Ji Hyun Woo, but because this drama’s coming from writer Song Jae Jung who wrote Coffee House -which we adored- and also directed by PD Kim Byung Soo who directed the trendy Vampire Prosecutor, so that means this is a must see drama.
Queen Inhyun’s Man airs mid April, replacing Twelve Men in A Year.
