With sensational drama King of Baking Kim Tak Goo ended last week, it’s 2 competitors drama finally got benefit. The 40% to 45%  audience who usually watched Baker King made their time to watch My Girlfriend is Gumiho and Playful Kiss.

My Girlfriend is Gumiho’s  (MGIG) rating  yesterday reached 22.5%, almost double it’s usual rating , around 13 % – 14% (according to TNmS)

That was a great achievement for MGIG, but it was also a pity since this funny drama leaving only 2 more episodes and make  finale next Thursday.

Meanwhile Playful Kiss reached 6% yesterday, almost double from it’s usual 3.2%.  But we thought it will be an uphill journey for PK to reach double digit rating, since this drama only attracted around 3% audience from that 40% left by Baker King.

With Rain’s widely anticipated drama Runaway : Plan B debuts next Wednesday, it will be interesting to see the rating battle between MGIG, PK and Runaway.
