Do you still remember Hollywood movie “Closer” , released 2004, starred by Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Clive Owen and Natalie Portman? If yes, you should remember in that movie, Natalie Portman acted as a strip dancer named Alice.
Originally, “Closer” is a famed theatrical play, product by English playwright Patrick Marber. “Closer” premiered in London in 1997 and made a North American debut on Broadway two years later, has been translated into some 30 languages and shown in over 100 cities around the world.
And now, Korean will make their version and Moon Geun Young already cast as Alice, the strip dancer. This is first time experience for Moon Geun Young in the theatrical stage.
This Korean version of “Closer” will show in Korean for 2 months starting August and jointly produced in Korea by Namoo, Aga and CJ Entertainment. Namoo is Moon Geun Yung agency.
Another possible actor to join is Uhm Ki Joon.
