Love Rain was so hyped for several months.
How could you not want to see it ? Love Rain has super popular SNSD’ Yoona and Asian prince Jang Geun Suk take the lead, plus PD Yoon Suk Ho (Autumn Tale & Winter Sonata) helmet the drama.
The drama also teased us with numerous beautiful photo stills.
But still, Korean audience doesn’t get it.
The 3 first episodes of Love Rain was beaten hard by its rival (SBS’ Fashion King & MBC’ Lights and Shadows) and the rating was disastrous.
Based from AGB Nielsen, Love Rain’s first episode got 5.8 %, second episode 5.2% and the third fell into 4.4%.
It was a total humiliating result for KBS and Love Rain’s team.
But, it’s not the end of the world and Love Rain is still in high spirit.
The people from Love Rain’s production team said ‘Actually, we’re embarrassed with the unexpected low rating. But Love Rain has beautiful images, the beauty of slowness and the warm story unlike other dramas. Although PD Yoon Suk Ho disappointed with the current result but we believe there’s some good news pretty soon’.
He continued ‘ The first 4 episodes tells story from 1970′s and after that will jump to modern era. Yoona and Jang Geun Suk’s character will change and story becomes interesting. In addition, mid-age love story between Jung Jin Young and Lee Mi Sook will give different color for the fans’ .
Hopefully their hope comes true !

The story is kind of good but the lead actress is sooooooooooooo boring and there’s no chemistry between those two. the lead actor more beautiful than the girl and of course lead actor can act pretty good but the lead actress is you know boring and dont know how to act. no wonder is not doing wonder to the rating. Whoever did the casting he make a wrong mistakes casting yoona on this one. like the girl but dont force her to act when she does’nt know how. the best for this drama either shin mina or park shin yee or mong geun yoon. i watching it though because like them individually.

I looovee the lead actor, but he’s prettier than the lead actress, I’m definitely not buying this love team. If you cast them because of their popularity, then it’s bound to fail. Yoona will only be an effective pair for JGS if she can match his acting ability. This drama will just drag JGS career down.
Ive seen the drama and i found it cute and interesting. ive notice that korean audience doesnt like cutey goodey stuff that much though the rating is not high still im still a big fan of YOONA especially JANG KEUN SUK. i love LOVERAIN i love their sweet moments especially the wedding scene. Yoona and Keun suk is the most lovable loveteam ive ever seen and their acts seems so natural as if they are in love in real life. Love it so much. Congratulations to the stars and staff of LOVERAIN thank you for showing this kind of drama I am so move. Luv u Jang Keun Suk and Yoona I will support both of you all the time. Korea saranghae!!!!

) JKS acting ability is wonderful … been loving him since I watched He’s Beautiful and he is getting better and better … wish he could have been paired with the same acting ability leading actress to make it daebak!
i love kjs since i have watched hong gil dong. but yoona, no offense but i don’t like her acting ability. i wish that kjs will be paired to yoon euh hye or another project with park shin he or maybe another one with sung yu ri.
