Directed by Hong Sang Soo, Oki’s Movie tells story about a woman who is a film student named Oki, makes a movie about a young man and a older man she both dated. She went to the mountain with both of these men, a year apart.
In her movie, she shows her experiences with both of these men in different spaces.
The parking lot, entrance of the mountain, in front of the gazebo, bathroom, in front of a wooden bridge, halfway up the mountain. We are able to see the differences between the two experiences, because they are portrayed side by side. We get an overall picture of Oki and the relationship with the two men.


Lee Sun Gyun plays the young man and Jeong Yu Mi plays Oki.

Oki’s Movie was chosen as the closing film for one section of the Venice Film Festival, held in Venice, Italy on September 1 to 11.
Hong Sang Soo is considered one of the most prominent filmmakers in Korea who is known for unique vision and originality. He has won several international awards with his films.

Oki’s Movie debuts in Korea September 16.
