After tons of Lee Min Ho’s stills from upcoming drama Faith, we got a glimpse of the supporting casts.

Above are the stills of Lee Phillip.
He plays Jang Bin, a doctor / physician in Goryeo era. But he’s not average doctor because he’s also very good in martial arts. His weapon is a simple bamboo fan.
In the early stage of the drama, he will use it to protect Princess No Guk.

With his knowledge of vital points in human body he easily beats enemy who tries to harm him.

But actually, in the real life, Lee Phillip got a lot of little scars in his hand because of his weapon.
He said ,” It’s not easy to block a long sword using a small bamboo fan. Sometimes it’s thorns hurts my fingers.”
On his character , Jang Bin, he said, ” He’s a practical man who thinks that fighting is stupid thing because although he beats his enemy, in the end he has to cure him again”.

This is Sung Hoon (New Tales of Gisaeng).
He plays Chun Eum Ja, a master of martial arts and super assassin. Chun Eum Ja uses his daegeum (a Korean traditional instrument from bamboo) to create sound waves that will kill people.
Chun Eun Ja’s small world only revolves around his best friends Ki Chul (played by Yoo Oh Sung), Hwa Soo In (played by Shin Eun Jung) and his daegeum.

Sung Hoon is almost unrecognizable with his long white hair and is reportedly shed 5 kg for his role. He also received daegeum lessons from professional player.

On his role, Sung Hoon said ,” Chun Eun Ja is more interested in animal than people. He’s not interested in people and also has no interest in death. He’s a mysterious personality and barely displays his emotion and thought”.

In the end, we still got a new Lee Min Ho’s pictures. The actor looks handsome as usual riding his horse and due to severe heat lately, Lee Min Ho is reportedly has lost 5 kg (around 11 lbs) in three days.

Faith debuts August 13.
