Yes, Lee Min Ho is big in China.
He’s so big that his latest TV program aired January 14 was the most watched television program in China in 2 years and became the 10th most viewed TV program in China ever.
That’s fantastic !
The program is called ‘Que Rak Dae Bon Young’ (Happy Camp) and was aired through satellite TV channel Honam. The program itself is the biggest variety show in China since 1997. For your information, in China there’s 79 nationwide TV channels.
Usually run as 60 minutes program, special for January 14, the program run for 90 minutes for its special guest star Lee Min Ho.
That Lee Min Ho’s special program received 2.65 % rating with 6.49% market-share. That’s the best number for a single TV show in 2 years in China. The show also can be seen online and recorded 10 million online viewers.
Comparing it with the most popular drama series in China ‘Bo Bokyungsim’ which at best only got 1.93% rating then we can imagine Lee Min Ho’s giant popularity in China.
