Highly anticipated SBS drama Faith finally began its official filming on May 24.
The filming took place at Bongeunsa, Samsungdong, Seoul.
Their first scene to be filmed was when Goryeo warrior Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) landed in modern times Korea for the first time. He traveled through time and tried to bring plastic surgeon Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) to Goryeo times before the gate to the time travel closes.
Lee Min Ho said after the filming :’ Even though it’s the first filming, I’m glad it finished well, thanks to great preparation and attention from director Kim Jong Hak and the team. The chemistry between Kim Hee Sun sunbae and me was perfect. I want to bring life into the cool character, Choi Young, that was made by director’.
Kim Hee Sun the leading lady also spoke : ‘ It’s been quite some time since my last filming so I thought I would be very nervous. But, when filming started I felt comfortable just like I came back after filming the day before. I think it’s all because of the great teamwork of the crew, thank you’.
Lee Min Ho looked awesome with his heavy ancient suit but his hair seemed too trendy for a Goryeo warrior.
Faith which will debut August 13, came from PD Kim Jong Hak and writer Song Ji Na, the same genius team behind Bae Yong Joon’s hit drama The Legend in 2007.
