As reporting before, Lee Jun Ki who just entered military this May, took part in musical  Voyage of Life, an  army’s entertainment unit production which was dedicated to the 60-year anniversary of the Korean War.
The show started yesterday August 21 in the National theater and unfortunately, Lee Jun Ki was injured in the final rehearsal that day before the first show begin.

He missed his step and slammed into a steel structure, his forehead was wounded.
He rushed to the emergency room at Seoul National University Hospital by ambulance.
There he took CT scan and got 50 stitches for more than 2 hours.
Fortunately, there was no brain or neck damage.
Doctor said Lee Jun Ki needed rest, otherwise the wounded forehead could be bloody and swollen.

But, Lee Jun Ki made difficult decision, he insisted to play the show. Considering that the first show was very important, also because the show has 98% ticket sold and he could not make many foreign fans who came to see the show disappointed.
Then, Lee Jun Ki rushed back again to the National theater to catch the first show that began at 7.30 pm.

He performed with his forehead bandaged, looked like an injured soldier.
Lee Jun Ki felt a slight headache during performances and after the show he was taken back to hospital emergency rooms again.
Fortunately, there was no  bleeding wounds and Lee Jun Ki back to the army after he got treatment. Doctor again said that excessive physical activity can  affect the wound. Lee Jun Ki have to be careful.

There is still no report whether Lee Jun Ki will perform again for next show, but we suggest Lee Jun Ki better to take a rest.
He already risked his own health, showed affection for the show and professionalism as an actor and we admired that ! But 50 stitches are scary !
