Upcoming MBC drama Arang and The Magistrate starts its production and the first picture of Lee Jun Ki performs the role of Magistrate Eun Oh was out.
The 30-year-old actor posed with a complete -a bit over the top- attire for a magistrate. He looks handsome and sharp, though.
Along with photo, Lee Jun Ki also described his feeling for his new drama, as he said ,” I thought it’s good for me to choose this fantasy historical drama after 2 years serving the army. I was worried that I lost the taste / the sense of acting. With this fantasy historical which has no limit of genre, I think I could meet various type of acting roles. So, I can adjust my character scene by scene. I have intention to pour my all for this drama. I want to try various characters with excellence”.
Lee Jun Ki continued ,” I was a bit nervous at the first day of shooting . I even didn’t realize that the filming was over. While I was concentrating with my acting, I couldn’t think other things. I was really happy when I stood in the shooting set. My fans expected my drama, I will give my all and I wish my action scenes do well”.
About potential romance scene with co-star Shin Min Ah, Lee Jun Ki said ,” I’m expecting it. Usually, during early shooting, the complete script is still in the making, so actors would imagine lot of things. Especially, romance between the leading couple is the most expected part in drama. All I can say is that since this is a fantasy melodrama, there will be many romance scenes.”
Arang and The Magistrate debuts July 25.
