Kim Jae Won finally conquered his back injury he had during filming Me Too, Flower in late 2011 and ready to take the leading man role of upcoming MBC weekend drama May Queen. He will play opposite Han Ji Hye in the drama about love, betrayal, passion and revenge of a man and a woman in the shipping industry.
May Queen is scheduled for August.
Ji Jin Hee goes to his third saeguk after Dae Jang Geum and Dong Yi.
The upcoming historical drama will air in SBS and titled The Great Seer.
The Great Seer is fictional biopic of King Lee Sung Gye, one of the great King in ancient Korea.
King Lee lived in the end of 475 years of Goryeo dynasty and he declared a new dynasty which became the foundation of Korean Peninsula between 1392-1393.
Ji Jin Hee will play King Lee and will show different personality than usual noble kings as he is expected to be playful with gisaeng but also valiant and well prepared when it comes to war.
36 episodes of The Great Seer will start shooting on June 7 and debuts next October.
