After Lee Min Ho rumored decline the main  lead, who will be real leading character of “Playful  Kiss”? In the morning, Jung Yong Hwa is rumored, in the afternoon, Kim Hyun Jung’s name appeared.

Since Kim Hyun Jung he took No.1 in the Chinese internet poll, Kim Hyun Jung is rumored to be the leading actor for upcoming  comic adapted drama series Itazura na Kiss / It Started With A Kiss (Korean title could be Mischievous Kiss or Playful Kiss).

Kim Hyun Jung is currently talking with the show’s producers but the production team said that negotiation is in the final stage, but nothing has been decided yet. But , good news, the decision will made soon.

The producing company say “Overall schedule is delayed because of casting problem, but it will settled down in very near future and will start to shoot from July.”

This drama series scheduled to air on MBC after “Road Number 1″ finish, and will be directed by Hwang In-roi ( Goong” & The Return of Iljimae). The scripwriter goes to Go Eun-nim.

Itazura na Kiss is a very popular Japanese comic, sold more than 27 millions copies in Japan (wow, the number is amazing, considering Japan population is about 127 millions , that means 1 of 5 people in Japan bought that comic).
The comic has been made into animation and TV dramas in Japan and Taiwan and the drama reached highest rating of the year.

Kim Hyun Jung , you better get this role,this drama has potential to  be huge, could be something likes Boys Before Flower.

Beside Kim Hyun  Jung, Jung Yong-hwa from You’re Beautiful is rumored to be leading actor too.
And the rumored  actress for female lead could be Park Shin-hye (You’re Beautiful) and Kara’s Han Seung-yeon and  Park Bo-young.

Park Boyoung is scheduled to be cast as leading female character at first time. But her loss of sue against her late management company give bad influence to her.

Keyeast , Kim Hyun Jung management said that “Playful Kiss” finally chooses Kim Hyun Jung as it’s main lead, Baek Seung Jo, a boy next door character, who fall in love to Moon Ha Ni. Who will play Moon Ha Ni still yet to be determined.
