Former Korean drama queen, Kim Hee Sun, finally will return to TV drama after 6 years. She will star alongside heartthrob Lee Min Ho as a modern era plastic surgeon doctor who then travels back to Goryeo era in upcoming drama Faith.
To make her character believable, the actress stepped up and practiced with real plastic surgeon in a plastic surgery clinic.
Kim Hee Sun said ‘ there’s not many surgery scenes for me, but still I need to look skillful. So I decided to learn and practice the method of surgery. This’s also my return after 6 years, I’m preparing diligently’.
On the several photos published, Kim Hee Sun was seen operating scissors, learning the angle and hand movement for an operation. She used orange to practice the cutting and sewing. During sewing practice, she sewed stitch by stitch using the real operating needle and tweezers.
The hospital chef who watched her practiced said ‘Plastic surgery is a very delicate technical work. She learned fast and she has the subtle of sensitivity’. Later he joked ‘ It seemed that she can open a surgery clinic tomorrow. Before this practice, Kim Hee Sun had watched the real plastic surgery and joined the real surgery team.’
No wonder she’s the queen of Korean drama, she gives her all for her character !

This Korean actress is very beautiful and I admire her ability acting skills in Faith. I just can’t believe that she is older than Lee Min Ho more than 10 years. She looks so young and cute and so matching with main actor as most romantic couple in 2012. I had been thorough her past photos and I totally had to admit that she is really a most beautiful actress in Korea.
