Upcoming KBS big budget drama Bridal Mask casts rookie actress Jin Se Yun as the leading lady opposite Joo Won.
19-year-old Jin Se Yun will play Mokdan, the talented sword woman in a circus. Mokdan is cute, brave and straightforward girl and as usual she’s the love of the hero, Joo Won.
Bridal Mask sets in the 1930s while Korea was under Japanese occupation. Joo Won plays an investigator at day and hides his identity behind a bridal mask at night to fight for freedom. The arrival of Jin Se Yun completes leading roles as Park Ki Woong previously joined as the drama’s villain named Shunji, a Japanese martyr.
Jin Se Yun is currently playing in daily drama My Daughter Flower and her previous works were small roles in The Duo and It’s Okay Daddy’s Girl.
We invest to this drama only because of Joo Won. This is his first ever leading man role and we feel that he carries a big burden with all heavy expectation and drama’s big budget thing.
But this drama also his biggest opportunity -as he plays title role- after Baker King to prove that he isn’t a mere pretty face but finally a respected actor.
