It’s a good news for us when we read the title, because we’re a bit of disappointed when news came that Joo Ji Hoon will play musical performance titled Doctor Zhivago -instead of TV drama- as his first project after discharged from army last month.
And now with he’s out of that musical project , hopefully he’ll find a perfect drama script to play soon.
But, when we learn the reason behind his withdrawal, we’re a bit sorry for him, as his management announced today that Joo Ji Hoon experienced a trouble vocal chord because of his over-practice for Doctor Zhivago.
His doctor advised him that it’ll be dangerous if he continues.
His management said that at first Joo Ji Hoon insisted to continue but as health comes first, finally Joo Ji Hoon and management agreed to withdraw.
As for Doctor Zhivago, the show must go on and Joo Ji Hoon’s role will be taken by Hong Kwang Ho and this musical will debut as planned on January 25th – 26th for preview and continued with complete performance on January 27th until its closing date June 3rd.
So, bittersweet news, huh ! Get well soon, Joo Ji Hoon !
