New cable channel TV Chosun presents a new blockbuster drama in the early 2012.
The drama titled Hanbando / Korean Peninsula, tells story in the background of the future-virtual divided Korea when the unification-talking is in progress as well as the co-ordination between the North and South to develop alternative energy resources.
This drama’s casts are lead by veteran actor Hwang Jung Min (The Fool) and Korean sweetheart Kim Jung Eun (Lovers in Paris).
Hwang Jung Min plays South Korean man Seo Myung Joon, a former scientist who rises into president and unifies Korea.
Beside busy unifies Korea, Seo Myung Joon involves in tragic love story with North Korean woman Lim In Jae (played by Kim Jung Eun).
Hanbando shares some stills, featuring the leading casts. The still was taken in Eastern Europe where Hanbando held a month shooting there.
We’re appreciate Hanbando as they bravely brings unusual theme, gets out from the cliche rich boy-spunky girl’s love story and put up something more serious. Although if later they fall out and trap in cliche espionage and political war drama, hopefully with the back-up of this new cable channel, they will elevate the game and bring something new and refreshing.
