Kang Ji Hwan will be in new movie titled Detective Cha.
He will work with his old colleagues : director Shin Tae Ra who directed Kang Ji Hwan’s last movie My Girlfriend is an Agent. In Detective Cha, Kang also meets with his co-star from Hong Gil Dong, Sung Yu Ri, who just finished KBS drama Romance Town.
Detective Cha will be action comedy -just like hit movie My Girlfriend is an Agent- about detective Cha Cheol Soo (Kang Ji Hwan) who is unexpectedly thrown on the fashion runway as a supermodel in order to solve a case.
Sung Yu Ri will play Yung Jae Yuk, a fashion designer who gets dragged to make detective Cha a supermodel.
While we adore Kang Ji Hwan, we are not a fan of Sung Yu Ri. It doesn’t mean that she can’t act, we find her quite talented but somehow she can not pull our heart to love her.
As movie My Girlfriend is an Agent was a hit with more than 4 million admission, there’s a hope that the second collaboration between Kang Ji Hwan director Shin Tae Ra will do so.
The shooting for this movie will start this month for 2012 release.
But, how about Kang Ji Hwan’s previous scheduled movie Tomorrow News ? Canceled ? Or Delayed ?
