26-year-old model and actor Jung Eui Chul joins Shut Up Flower Boy Band as the second leading man Yoo Seung Hoon.
Seung Hoon is rich boy and the frontman of band Strawberry Fields. He will face unavoidable competition with leading man Ji Hyuk (played by Sung Joon) both in music and love.
Before this drama, Jung Eui Chul had a small role in Boys Before Flowers and another cameo in OCN’s Vampire Prosecutor.
Shut Up Flower Boy Band finally also announced its leading lady, a rookie actress Jo Boa.
She’ll play Im Su Ah, the center of love triangle and a former rich girl who turns into poor one.
It’s interesting that this drama casts a totally rookie actress without acting experience as the leading lady.
Regarding that, the PD of this drama, PD Bae Jong Myung explained : ‘We have been struggling to find new actress who can play well fir this. Because she must be able to harmonize and balance her position with those handsome boys but without losing her own charm. And finally we got it in Jo Boa’.
This’s the first drama ever from Jo Boa, before this she’s in audition show for jTBC show.
With only Lee Min Ki (who makes cameo) as the most experienced artist from the drama cast so far, no wonder the PD picked a total rookie Jo Boa to play the heroine.
And we guess the result will be either an interesting totally fresh faces drama or a drama which parades handsome faces with miserable acting. Hopefully the first prediction comes out.
