Marvel’s The Avengers collected 1 billion US dollars worldwide to date and still number one movie this weekend in US. But in South Korea, after won box office crown for 3 straight weekends, the superhero movie was unseated by a new romantic comedy movie Everything About My Wife.
Starred by Im Soo Jung and Lee Sun Gyun, Everything About My Wife premiered nationwide on May 17 and earned an estimated 593.856 submissions during weekend while The Avengers pulled 565.166 this weekend to a total of 6.341.747 submissions to date.
Another new release movie The Taste Of Money (starred by Kim Kang Woo) was third in box office ranking with 445.374 submissions.
Meanwhile romance movie Architecture 101 (Uhm Tae Woong, Han Ga In, Suzy), finally surpassed 4 millions mark after 1 month of its release. A fantastic result !
Everything About My Wife tells story of a husband (Lee Sun Gyun) who wishes to divorce his wife (Im Soo Jung) and asks a womanizer to seduce her in order to catalyze the divorce.
