CNBLUE’s guitarist Lee Jong Hyun who debuts his TV drama acting through A Gentleman’s Dignity showed his hidden capability in this drama where he plays a mysterious young boy Colin.
In the early episode, there’s scene when Colin kicked a door to save Im Me Ah Ri (played by new actress Yoon Jin Yi) who was trapped inside.
The scene was captivated many audience so that he got nickname ‘Tough Colin’.
Staff in shooting set said that his kicking action was so good , the director easily gave him an OK sign while filming that scene.
Turns out, Lee Jong Hyun is a former jujitsu athlete in his school days.
The 22-year-old singer likes sports and born with excellent athleticism. While in school, he was a promising jujitsu athlete who swept all prize in several competition. Before entering music industry, he already built his perfect body and power with support of his parents.
He gave up jujitsu while he entered music industry, but he still can show his skill in A Gentleman’s Dignity and many more drama to come, for sure.
