Today , October 11th, Rain bid farewell to his fans as he begins his 2 years mandatory military service. In front of hundreds fans he entered 306 Reserves Uijeongbu, Gyonggkido military camp at 11 AM local time to receive 5 weeks training before serving active military duty.

It’s been a 10 spectacular years for the 29-year-old Korean megastar since his debut at the age of 19. He reached super stardom throughout Asia and regarded as the most well-known Korean celebrity in US through his 2 Hollywood movies and the latest MTV Award.

The date of Rain’s departure for mandatory military service has been the subject of  speculation during the last 1 year and finally the megastar released information about the day as he posted it on his website last Friday.

Rain aka Jung Ji Hoon stated that it will be Sunday , October 9. He said that the date of his entry to the Army was fixed although he has have  idea where  he will be placed later.
But the 29-year-old singer and actor  will get basic training for his 22-month-long mandatory military service at a unit in Uijeongbu, 23 kilometers north of Seoul.

It’s already a year after Lee Jun Ki reportedly injured during his musical Voyage of Life which was a production of army entertainment unit.

He recovered well and after long quiet time, his picture is emerged again. This time, he’s spotted working with his military colleagues, swinging the shovel, restoring flood damage site. As you know, last couple of weeks , South Korea hit by hard rain, caused flood everywhere.

He still thin, though. But maybe it’s all muscle now, just like his My Girl’s buddy Lee Dong Wook who shows amazing body after released from army.

By the way, when will Lee Jun Ki finish his military ? It’s February 2012.  This 6 months will fly fast !

Hyun Bin, one of Korean big stars finally enlisted to army today.
He’s so popular. Proved by thousand fans and hundred reporters waited for him today in Pohang, where Hyun Bin will enlist to the camp, receives 7 weeks of  basic military training and  after that serves marine corps for about 21 months

Hyun Bin recently revealed that he’s dating a girl which confirmed  his rumored relationship with Song Hye Kyo. But,  unfortunately Song Hye Kyo wouldn’t be there to send Hyun Bin because today she’s on the schedule to shoot her movie titled Today.

Hyun Bin finally arrived in the camp this noon, wore a training jacket and sported shorter hair do.
He showed his gratitude to his fans , knelt and even bowed to the fans. With his teary eyes, Hyun Bin said that he’s so touched  and he promised he’ll be back.
Of course ! We’ll wait for you, Hyun Bin. You’ll be missed !

After his quiet admission into the military service on November 18, finally, the pictures of Kang Dong Won in military emerged.
His pictures during several training , wore  glasses with helmet no 9-139 was uploaded onto the official blog belongs to the Army Camp Center.
It’s revealed that after a week of training, Kang Dong Won duty is a platoon leader, he’s responsible to report any problems to higher authority.
And it seems he did his duty very well since he’s selected as the best platoon leader by his fellow platoon leader. Daebak !

Jung Kyung Ho entered his active military duty today. He arrived at 306 reserves in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do to receive five weeks of basic training there and then be assigned at a  permanent base.
Before entered, he greeted reporters and  fans whom waited for him in freezing temperature.

Kyung Ho and said that bad things recently happened in the country (high tension with the North Korea) just days before he enlist but he wish everything gonna be okay.
And 27-years-old Kyung Ho  said he will back in next 2 years as a real man. Ha !

Unlike other stars who did a brief press conference and received goodbye from their fans on the day they entered military service, Kang Dong Won was quietly entered Nonsan trainee camp on November 18,  the same day with actor Ko Joo Won and singer Choi Hyun Joon.

He then a little bit in trouble since he has been accused of received special treatment because he was absent from photo trainee season.  While other stars Ko Jo Won and Choi Hyun Joon were there, Kang Dong Won wasn’t there.

Ko Joo Won, star of  the latest MBC saeguk drama Kim Soo Ro will serve his country in 2 years mandatory military service.
Ko Joo Won agency, Open-World Entertainment  confirmed that 29 years old actor will begin his military duty on November 18, starting with four weeks of basic training at Nonsan training camp in South Chungcheong Province and then work as a public service worker for the remainder of his service.

Ko Joo Won latest work besides Kim Soo Ro were this year SBS Obgyn Doctors and he took lead role in MBC 2008 drama My Woman.

29 years old Jo Han Sun just appeared in media preview and press conference for his upcoming movie The Invincible yesterday.
Too bad he will not attend the premiere of The Invincible since he plays the main lead role there alongside Song Seung Heon, Joo Jin Moo and Kim Kang Woo.
