TV Chosun new blockbuster drama ‘Korean Peninsula‘ also held its press conference on January 26.
The political, action and romance drama was lead by Hwang Jung Min and Kim Jung Eun while supporting roles includes comeback actress Jo Yi Jin, Jung Sung Mo, also handsome new comers Ji Hoo and Kwang Hee Sung.
If the story goes awfully over the top, then we think we will watch Korean Peninsula only to check if the gorgeous Ji Hoo also brings gorgeous acting inside.

After the press conference event, Kim Jung Eun got support from her fans club , Kim Jung Eun World, in the form of a cute cake.  So sweet.

New movie Papa, starred by  Park Yong Woo and Go Ara finally made its VIP premiere night yesterday, January 17, at Lotte Cinema Seoul.
It’s a glorious night with several A-list names came and supported the  premiere event such as Han Chae Young, Lee Da Hae, Lee Min Jung, Lee Min Ki and many more.

New SBS sitcom ‘Salamander Guru and The Shadows‘ (or Salamander Guru and The Gang) held its press conference yesterday, January 16.

This new sitcom will be a total funny comic comedy, tells story of stupid two cheaters who accidentally become salamander guru and a genius hacker who controls them in order to look like real salamander guru. Meanwhile on the other side there’s real salamander guru who is in dementia.

Highlight of the press conference event was none other  than Shinee Min Ho who plays the genius hacker Choi Min Hyuk. This’s the newest acting work for Min Ho after his appearance in KBS special drama Pianist last year.

The casts of this drama consist of : Oh Dal Soo -well known for his supporting roles characters, he plays the fake salamander guru – , Lee Byung Joon (plays real salamander guru), Ryoo Hyun Kyung (plays female detective Bong Kyung Ja who believes in shamanism).

Production company Chorokbeam Media who made successful High Kick series and writer Seo Eun Jung were the team behind this comic sitcom.

Salamander Guru and The Shadows debuts January 27.

Upcoming KBS2 drama Dream High 2 finally held its press conference today , January 17.
It’s a crowded press conference as the drama brought its complete team for the event.
They were 6 main cast : Jin Won, Kang So Ra, Hyo Rin, Ji Yeon, Park Seo Joon and Im Jae Bum / JB.
The 4 teachers : Park Jin Young (who also the drama producer)  , Kim Jung Tae, Kahi and Choi Yeo Jin.
Also in attendance the supporting casts : Ailee, Junior, Yoo So Young, Kim Ji Soo and Jung Yun Joo.

The musical drama debuts January 30, replacing Brain.

After My Princess‘ Christmas Concert last December , Hallyu stars invaded Japan again with Athena : Goddess of War Concert, took place in Tokyo Saitama Super Arena, January 5.

Athena’s stars who attended the show were Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Kim Min Jong, Choi Si Won, Chu Sung Hoon, Sean Richards, Shinee and SNSD’ Taeyun.

They entertained Japanese fans with reconstruction of several memorable scenes and dialogues such as fighting scenes between Cha Seung Won and  Chu Sung Hoon, Soo Ae’s dynamic kick action.

New movie, Dancing Queen, held its VIP premiere last week, January 4.
Total comedy Dancing Queen tells a poor lawyer who becomes candidate of Seoul’s next mayor. He has a beautiful wife but that wife secretly behind her husband  becomes a dancing singer.
2 leading stars, Hwang Jung Min (Korean Peninsula, That Fool)  and Uhm Jung Hwa who play that couple were in attendance alongside fellow stars who came to watch the premiere.
