KBS Drama Special press conference event

Series of KBS Drama Special which starts to air June 12 every week with one act episode drama held its press conference event on June 10.
This press conference session was held for its two first drama : A Faded Memory and My Friend is Still Alive.
The stars attended the press conference were Ryu Soo Young , Nam Bo Ra , Yoo In Young ( A Faded Memory) and also Lee Ki Kwang , Lee Joo Seung, Jeon Soo Jin (My Friend is Stiil Alive ).

During the press conference event, Lee Ki Kwang who also personel of Kpop group BEAST, commented on his first leading man role in My Friend is Still Alive ‘it made me think that I should not act again’.
He continued ‘Other actors acted so good, I felt my acting was awkward. My hand and feet were curling and It’s difficult to watch my acting’

From Lee Min Ho’s Global Tour in Seoul

Lee Min Ho kicked off his tour to promote his recently released album My Everything in Seoul on May 25 in the form of a fan meeting and concert.

Some trivia from the event :

- It’s a sold out event with 4000 audiences

- It’s been 2 years since he had his last fan meeting in Korea. Last year he was busy filming Faith.

- He opened the session singing My Everything then followed with You & I, Love Motion and Pieces of Love.

- During a segment titled ‘secret profile’, Lee Min Ho revealed many things including : he doesn’t like cucumber, his favorite coffee is ice cafe mocha, his current weight is 73 kg and his height is 187 cm, he doesn’t use any ringtones for his phones and he prefers vibration mode, he likes to eat meat to help him recover energy

- Jung Il Woo, Lee Min Ho’s best friend sent a special video . In the video, Jung Il Woo sent congratulation and revealed to the fans that Lee Min Ho can sing well but can’t dance.

- Lee Min Ho did a dance performance

Lee Min Ho will continue his tour to 7 other cities in Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan Hong Kong and Philippines. After that he will start filming his new drama The Heirs – The One Trying to Wear the Crown, Withstand the Weight. The drama is about the friendship and love between rich high school students.

Mandate of Heaven’s press conference event

The session was attended by main stars Lee Dong Wook, Song Ji Hyo, child actress Kim Yoo Bin, Yoon Jin Yi, Park Ji Young, Im Seul Ong and Song Jong Ho.

‘Gu’s Family Book’ press conference; Lee Seung Gi’s fans served 10,000 ramen

On April 2, MBC’s new drama Gu’s Family Book held its press conference event , attended by main cast Lee Seung Gi, Suzy, Lee Yoo Bi, Choi Jin Hyuk, Yoo Yun Suk, Jo Sung Ha, Sung Joon, Jung Hye Young.
Only Lee Yeon Hee who was absent from the event due to personal reason.

During the event, Lee Seung Gi’s fans served 10,000 ramen to wish the drama lot of luck , such a creative idea as usually the fans served rice wreath to their idol.

Gu’s Family Book airs April 8.

‘When A Man Loves’ press conference event ; Song Seung Heon’s fans donated 5 tons of rice

Upcoming MBC’s melodrama ‘When A Man Loves‘ held its press conference on March 27.

The event was attended by main cast Song Seung Heon, Shin Se Kyung, Chae Jung Ahn and Yeon Woo Jin.

As usual, the fans of the cast showed their love by gather donations to support them.

International fans of Shin Se Kyung and her Korean fans (DC Shin Se Kyung Gallery) served 150 kilograms of rice.  While fans from her previous drama, DC Fashion King, also served 100 kilograms of rice.

Meanwhile , Song Seung Heon’s fans from Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan donated  a total of 5 tons of rice. Awesome ! Hopefully their  great support brings lot of luck for the drama !

G.I. Joe 2 World Premiere in Seoul

Hollywood movie G.I. Joe : Retaliation held its world premiere in Seoul on March 11.

The cast , Lee Byung Hun, Dwayne Johnson, Adrianne Palicki , D.J. Cotrona and director Jon Chu were in attendance at the premiere.
It’s also a star-studded event as Korean celebrities enjoyed the premiere.

‘Flower Boy Neighbor’ press conference event

The cast and crew of tvN drama Flower Boy Neighbor met the media in official press conference event on January 3.

Main cast Park Shin Hyee, Yoon Shi Yoon, Kim Ji Hoon and Park Soo Jin were accompanied by supporting cast Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Jung San, Kim Yoon Hye and Japanese actor Mizuta Kouki.

During the session, Park Shin Hye got interesting question, as she’s been working with many flower boys in her previous dramas and this drama (Jang Geun Suk, Jung Yong Hwa) , she said that she never thinks about that and she was chosen maybe because of her easy going personality which is needed for a romantic comedy.
When media asked her, who’s the best between those flower boys, Park Shin Hye said ,” It’s difficult question, they’re all handsome. But I think the original flower boy is Kim Ji Hoon, so I think he’s the best”.

2012 SBS Drama Awards

Veteran actor Sohn Hyun Joo won the biggest prize, Daesang Awards, for his performance as a police officer looking for the truth  in crime – political drama The Chaser.

Lee Dong Wook and Jung Ryu Won hosted the ceremony which took place on December31, 2012.

2012 MBC Drama Awards

MBC’s hit drama The Moon That Embraces The Sun won the Best Drama but Jo Seung Woo (Horse Healer) outdid Kim Soo Hyun for the ultimate prize, Daesang Awards.

The ceremony was hosted by Kim Jae Won and Sohn Dam Bi on December 30 and below is the winner list.
