Big Bang’s member, TOP (real name Choi Seung Hyun) might be back to TV drama in upcoming drama tentatively titled Celebrity / Entertainers.
After his appearance in hit drama IRIS (2009), TOP was rumored to play in PD Yoon Suk Ho’s new drama Love Rain, but turned out Jang Geun Suk took the leading role.
New drama Celebrity / Entertainers centers on a scandal in show business world. A girl who is dumped by her idol boyfriend returns for revenge but instead falls in love with another top star, named Jung Su Hyun who will be played by TOP if he receives to play this drama.
Reported to air next July, Celebrity is in casting stage with no fixed broadcasting station yet.
Although TOP’s management stated that there’s no confirmation of any drama so far , cited Big Bang’s tight schedule, we hope TOP will considered this new drama as his project. Because it’s interesting to see how he will develop his acting skill from his cold assassin role in IRIS.
